Privacy Policy

Who we are

Inkspace Studios is a sole trader business based in England, run by Kerri, and is the data controller for the information described here. You can write to us at 5, BS16 6UR, or email hello@inkspacestudios.com.

What we collect

Your name and email when you create an account; what you write in the workbooks as you work through them; and, if you buy, payment details handled entirely by our payment processor (we never see your full card number).

Why, and the lawful basis

To run your account and deliver what you signed up for (performance of a contract). We only send marketing emails with your consent, given when you opt in, and you can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Their handling of your card details is covered by Stripe's own terms; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we'll sort it within a month. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Who else handles it

We use a few trusted services to run Inkspace Studios, and they only process your data to do their job: Stripe (payments), Supabase (your account, login and the database where your work is stored), systeme.io (our email list and the emails you opt into), LazyUnicorns (which tells us which pages led to a signup or a sale), Meta (which tells us whether our Instagram and Facebook ads did), and our website hosting provider. Each handles your data under its own security and data-protection terms.

The LazyUnicorns part is worth spelling out. When you open a page here it records the address of that page and the site you arrived from, and when you create an account, or buy something, it records that it happened and which offer it was, so we can see which pages actually bring people in. It never receives your name, your email address or your card details. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why it isn't in the cookie banner. If you'd rather we didn't, email hello@inkspacestudios.com and we'll exclude you.

The Meta part works differently, and only happens if you say yes on the cookie banner. When you do, the Meta pixel tells Meta which of our pages you opened, and whether you signed up or bought, so we can see whether an advert was worth running and show our ads to people who have been here before. It never receives your name, your email address or your card details. Say no and it never loads. There is more detail, including the cookie it sets, in our cookie policy.

Keeping it safe

Your data is held with those providers under their security terms, and we keep it only as long as we need to.
